Yummy Tummy: Halloween School Snack

I have some time management issues...if it takes too much time then it’s an issue (impatience of a multi-tasker with a long task list). So when the holidays roll around, and it’s time to bring in a Halloween snack for school, it’s essential that it is time sensitive (as well as clever). Now, with so many creative Halloween kid snacks on-line, I wanted to share one that was impressive and fun to do with your child. I mean really, how darn cute is this snack?! It’s so simple, you might blink twice at the ingredients below. The best part is, your kids can help out, which is always rewarded with a proud little puffed out chest and a big happy (some toothless) grin.

A SPOOKY SNACK
-Chex Party Mix
-Candy Corn
-M&Ms
-Mini-Marshmallows (We added these in)
HOW TO: Create The Cup
-Basic White Party Cup
-Shape Punch (or cut) Black Construction Paper/Card Stock into hearts or circles (my son wanted simple circles) for eyes and nose (we made a triangle).
-Cut small rectangles for Skull’s mouth
-Cut white Card Stock into 2 long strips for cross-bones in the back (orange bow is your choice, we opted more gender neutral).
-Adhere to Cup: glue stick or double sided tape works well
Fill with the yummy mix, and you’re all set!
